It aims to educate more than 21,000 companies about the importance of their warehousing systems’ consistence and compliance with the Dubai Customs smart system, which will be of mutual benefit to both sides, according to Ekhlas Al Mutawa, director of Post Clearance Audit Department.

“In order to facilitate services for clients, a team from the audit department holds meetings and regular visits to our client companies based on the free zones,” he said. “We encourage them to create smart warehousing systems compatible with Mirsal 2; the smart secure administrative electronic declaration system.”
