DP World has published a video that shows British TV magician Ryan Tricks making a 40-foot container vanish at the Port of Southampton, UK.

Thousands of containers carrying goods of all kinds pass through DP World’s terminal every day, and the port is one of the most important in the UK.

In the video, Tricks, who briefly hides the container behind a screen, describes the vanishing act as the biggest trick he has ever performed.

The video is part of a promotion for the Where’s My Container Service.

“Where’s My Container is a tool for anyone involved in the supply chain, as well as beneficial cargo owners transporting cargo in containers, to understand where their containers are as they transit through DP World’s UK ports, from when they arrive to when they’ll be ready to pick up,” says DP World.

“This allows for more accurate planning in the supply chain, meaning customer demand can be better met. In this competition you’ll have the chance to use Where’s My Container for yourself, to see the visibility it can bring to your operations. The winner will be the first to respond once the container leaves the port and is departed by road.”
