Jayride Group Limited, the e-commerce marketplace that provides transport options from more than 3,000 transport companies has launched the world’s first global on-demand transport aggregator.

The announcement comes after Jayride successfully completed a pilot program involving more than 3,500 booked passenger trips.

Jayride is partnering with major brands around the world, such as Gett (Europe and Middle East), Lyft (available in the US), Cabify (Europe and South America) and Careem (Middle East, Europe and Africa).

The service creates an additional offering that allows travellers to compare and book ride-hailing services, including to pay in advance at a fixed price through the Jayride.com platform, quoted in their currency, and with no app-install required.

Ride-hailing companies can benefit from this new integration as they get a chance to gain Jayride.com travellers as new repeat customers.

"Every local destination has different on-demand transport companies, and these prices sit between bargain shared shuttle and premium private transfer services,” says Rod Bishop, managing director of Jayride.

“Aggregating these services and adding them to Jayride’s marketplace means we can improve the customer experience for travellers, cater for new traveller segments, and offer a more comprehensive value proposition for the traveller,” he added.

“This successful pilot we had with Gett, Lyft, Cabify and Careem validated the concept of ride-sharing aggregation as a unique and scalable offering,” says Bishop. “We can now offer the best local transport experience for our travellers, wherever they are, whatever their destination is, and in whatever way that suits them the best.”

Jayride has invited any other ride-hailing companies around the world to join its platform.
