Dubai tech firm launching global smart logistics solution
A Dubai-based technology company is introducing a state-of-the-art smart solution for the supply chain and logistic industry with the aim of enhancing efficiency and tapping its enormous potential.
The global intelligent mobility solution for logistics by HashMove will connect all logistics providers, whether carriers or shippers, from individual companies to governments with each other seamlessly to engage in global, multi-modal, end-to-end logistics transactions.
“Our platform provides a single view of providers involved in the end to end movement of goods giving users the ability to search, view pricing, and book shipments across multiple modes with multiple suppliers,” said Sarfaraz Alam, co-founder and CEO of HashMove.com.
“Whether booking standard shipments or a more customized requirement, users can compare and choose the right booking for them in just a few minutes,” Alam added.
Today, the global logistic market is worth US $7.85 trillion and has the potential to reach US $11.12 trillion by 2020, US $50-billion of which is accounted for by the GCC.
The Gulf market is expected to grow to US $73 billion by 2021. “Despite being such a huge market, there is not one united market place that connects demand and supply under one roof,” said Alam. “We are filling that gap by introducing a solution that will unify all logistics needs in a more connected way to facilitate a slicker, digitalized experience for multi-modal, end-to-end logistics transactions.”
HashMove is scheduled to start its operation by January 2019 and will be available in multiple languages, with English and Arabic, initially available. “It will be supported with 24x7x365 days call center providing best customer support to the users and businesses in native languages,” Alam said.
According to Alam, the solution is the result of some of the best minds in technology and logistics from Silicon Valley, California and Dubai coming together to develop this logistic revolution.
