King Abdullah Port plans to expand container terminals, says new cranes will be operational from early 2020
King Abdullah Port in Saudi Arabia is now ranked 83 in the list of the 100 largest container ports in the world
According to media reports, Saudi Arabia has floated a tender to build a new dry port and logistic zone, as well as a King Abdullah Port railway
The aim is to ensure the smooth flow of cargo to the port and re-export it by the air in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 aiming to turn the Kingdom into an international logistics hub.
For the second consecutive year, King Abdullah Port has extended its support to Breakbulk Middle East 2019.
The GCC region has the potential to become a global trade hub, and to do this port operators and other stakeholders in logistics need to collaborate says Rayan Mustafa Qutub, CEO, King Abdullah Port.
