The Logistics Leaders Saudi 2024 event, hosted by Logistics Middle East, took place last month in Riyadh, driving conversation and insights about Saudi Arabia’s logistics and supply chain sector.

The event brought together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals to discuss the future of logistics in the Kingdom, highlighting the significant strides that have been made and the road ahead.

Isabel Fernandez of Efficio, Ghazanfar Yar Khan of LogiPoint, and Nick Lojevec of Combilift led the panel discussion on building resilience in industry supply chains.

About Fernandez

Isabel Fernandez, Director at Efficio, has over 30 years of consulting experience in operational excellence, procurement, and supply chain management.

She has worked with C-suite leaders to help multinationals and SMEs enhance their bottom-line results through procurement, supply chain, and performance improvement strategies.

Fernandez has extensive international experience, having worked in more than 25 countries across various sectors, including retail, telecommunications, automotive, aviation, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, banking, insurance, engineering, paper, mining, and food and beverages.

She has recently led engagements in strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, ESG, and local content in Saudi Arabia. Fernandez is currently based in the Riyadh office and is a member of the MENA leadership team.

About Khan

Ghazanfar Yar Khan, the Chief Commercial Officer at LogiPoint, exemplifies leadership and innovation in the supply chain and logistics industry. With over two decades of experience, his journey highlights his ability to drive organisational growth and set industry benchmarks.

Khan’s career includes significant roles in commercial leadership and senior management with global and regional logistics companies. His fifteen-year tenure in container shipping across Saudi Arabia and neighbouring regions gave him a deep understanding of the global container industry, refining his expertise in innovation and market dynamics.
