With the deadline for the Logistics Middle East Awards 2024 nominations fast approaching, industry frontrunners and game-changers are stepping into the spotlight, presenting their best and brightest achievements for a chance to claim the coveted winning titles.
The prestigious awards will return on 6 March 2024 for the 17th year to honour excelling businesses and industry trailblazers across the Middle East’s logistics and supply chain sectors.
This year’s edition features 16 distinctive categories spanning every facet of the industry, from energy supply chain to 3PL, FMCG logistics, air freight, last-mile delivery, and more, to recognise and celebrate the industry’s landmark achievements over the past 12 months.

Award categories
3PL of the Year
This award acknowledges the 3PL company providing exceptional distribution, warehousing, and fulfilment services and solutions.
Companies are encouraged to submit recommendations from their logistics partners and compelling evidence of their outstanding service.
Bespoke Logistics Project of the Year
This award recognises those unique, one-off projects that do not neatly fit into any other category, such as transporting several tonnes of flowers via the Middle East in a zeppelin or flying six dozen falcons aboard a chartered aeroplane.
Companies that orchestrated the logistics for such distinctive projects or major events are invited to participate.
CSR Initiative of the Year
This award honours the firm that has taken proactive responsibility for the impact of its activities on customers, employees, shareholders, communities, and the environment.
The winning CSR initiative would have made significant contributions to the welfare of local communities, employee development, and the enhancement of the company’s reputation.
Energy Supply Chain of the Year
Recognising the significance of Oil and gas and chemical logistics as key pillars of the Middle East economy, this award applauds companies offering innovative transportation and storage solutions for bulk volatile cargo.
Open to oil and gas majors and their logistics partners, this category focuses on companies’ innovation and commitment to excellence rather than the sheer volume of transported cargo or market share.
Express Logistics Company of the Year
Awarded to the service provider demonstrating a proven record of delivering market-leading solutions within the field of express logistics, this award requires entrants to provide evidence of exceptional performance over the past 12 months.
The criteria include network coverage, volumes transported, customer service, world-class facilities, and a diverse range of delivery options, with a focus on market innovation and regional investment.
Equipment Supplier of the Year
This award recognises the equipment supplier that delivered exceptional services and solutions to industry stakeholders over the past 12 months, with a focus on innovation, future thinking, and ease of use.
Companies must provide evidence of how their solutions impacted the industry through innovation, service delivery, best practices, and a customer-centric approach.
Breakbulk Operator of the Year
The GCC region is home to some of the world’s biggest infrastructure developments and mega-construction projects requiring world-class breakbulk partners.
This award recognises the breakbulk logistics provider that delivered an industry-leading performance over the past year.
Technology and Innovation of the Year
Technology and innovation have become the cornerstone of the logistics and supply chain industry.
This award commends the pioneering firm offering advanced software and hardware solutions for seamless warehousing, fulfilment, and fleet management operations.
Air Cargo Operator of the Year
This award recognises the Middle East air freight carrier going above and beyond to meet its customers’ unique business requirements and address the increased demand for efficient, safe, and timely air cargo services.
FMCG Supply Chain of the Year
Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) largely dominate the Middle East’s food imports.
This category recognises the retail end-users and 3PLs delivering seamless supply chain operations to ensure year-round availability of fresh produce and other FMCG products.
Entries will be judged based on the procedures, training, and technologies implemented for safe and efficient cold chain operations.
Logistics Consultancy of the Year
This award recognises the logistics consultancy working tirelessly to support the development, enhancement, and smooth operation of logistics and supply chain businesses in the region.
The category honours the teams working behind the scenes to advance the industry by recommending solutions and supporting their clients in implementing winning strategies for optimal supply chain performance.
Supply Chain Hub of the Year
This category recognises the ports and free zones going the extra mile to facilitate business, providing services and frameworks that offer logistics companies an ideal platform to operate, grow, and scale.
Pride of Logistics
This award honours the enterprise that demonstrated exemplary resilience and innovation in the face of market challenges.
This category is open to companies that supported the industry and demonstrated exceptional performance in the face of unprecedented challenges through innovation, determination, and adaptability.
Logistics Executive of the Year
This award recognises a single individual who has consistently contributed to advancing the Middle East’s logistics and supply chain sectors throughout a long and illustrious career.
Last Mile Leader of the Year
This award recognises the innovation and dedication that goes into improving the last-mile segment, from new tracking software, new modes of transport, or new warehouse management models developed to enhance the efficiency of last-mile delivery operations.
Female Logistics Leader of the Year
Female leaders and trailblazers from across the logistics and supply chain industry are attaining new and reaching new elevations every day, paving the way for aspiring young women to build successful careers and further contribute to the sectors’ development.
This category applauds the extraordinary accomplishments of a female logistics leader who significantly contributed to advancing the logistics and supply chain industry.
