A striking career
As the Managing Director of DGF – Saudi Arabia, Donoghue leads and oversees the logistics giant’s operations across the kingdom, to guarantee the highest levels of operational competency and business excellence.
Donoghue, an accomplished logistics and freight forwarding expert and a key leader of the Women in DGFF programme brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the logistics industry, with deep knowledge of the Saudi market, in particular.
She started her career in 2006 as a temporary receptionist for a project forwarder and worked her way up to a Senior Project Manager, managing multiple projects.
In the same year, she joined DHL as the Head of Industrial Projects in London and became the company’s Global Business Process Manager in 2012.
In 2016, Donoghue took office as the Global Head of Operations and Implementation, before moving to Saudi Arabia in 2018 to hold the post of DHL Project Director-Industrial Projects.
In 2019, she climbed up the ranks to Managing Director of DGF in the Kingdom and most recently became the CEO of the Arabian Cluster, leading operations in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.
