Over 120 experts from across the logistics, supply chain and e-commerce sectors will meet on Tuesday at the Leaders In Logistics 2021 summit to shed light on e-commerce’s new fulfilment models, mergers and acquisitions and shifting supply chain to new source markets.
On the first panel, James Doyle will join industry frontrunners including Global Transformation Director at Aramex Express, Angad Singh; Hurricane Modular Commerce Co-Founder, David Spottiswood; Hermes’ Executive Strategy Partner and Director of JPS impact consulting, John Sansby to shed light on how companies can transform their conventional business models to step into the e-commerce sector, as well as the industry’s latest technology and data trends.
Angad Singh is well known across the industry for his mentorship skills and passion for business excellence. Since he took office as the Regional Director of Operations at Aramex in 2019, Singh has demonstrated exceptional resilience, expanding the company’s scale of operations across the region and beyond, despite the latest adversity.
David Spottiswood will bring to the discussion his extensive expertise in providing AI technology solutions for postal operators, express courier service providers, freight forwarders, airlines, and retailers. Spottiswood has co-founded the private equity-backed Hurricane in 2016, to enable a smooth flow of cross-border e-commerce operations for his clients, using award-winning AI real-time technologies. Hurricane provides tech-driven solutions to an extensive base of prominent clients across the world, including Emirates Post, Royal Mail, SEKO, AnPost, Australia Post and 4PX.
John Sansby is an industry hero best known for supporting Hermes’ top executives’ board in global cross-border development and strategic projects, as well as offering business mentorship to several start-ups and SMEs.
The panel will be moderated by James Doyle, a previously trained commercial pilot, who moved gears to the supply chain sector in the early 2000s. Throughout his career, Doyle maintained an emphasis on international growth, mainly across the e-commerce, customer journey and supply chain security sectors.
