Emirates announces promotions at Seychelles office

Emirates Airline has strengthened its Seychelles office in Dubai with the promotion of Denise Rassool, customer sales and service officer, and Lisa Chetty, finance and administration officer.

Rassool, who joined the Dubai-based carrier in 2004, will now serve as sales manager, while Chetty, who joined in 2007, has been appointed as finance and administration manager.

To further highlight its focus on Seychelles, Emirates will host a recruitment campaign for cabin crew on 11th June 2011 at the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort and Casino in Mahé. The open day, which starts at 9am, will be conducted by officials from the airline’s Dubai headquarters. Successful candidates will then proceed for interviews.

“Empowering and recognising local talents is important to us. We congratulate Denise and Lisa on their appointments and they can serve as example to the future recruits from Seychelles. We wish good luck to all those who will take part in the selection exercise in June,” stated Omar Ramtoola, Emirates manager for Seychelles and the Indian Ocean Islands.

Emirates employs 55 Seychelles Nationals across its network, including 31 cabin crew and Boeing 777 captains.
