A Tristar Air A300-B4, operated on behalf of DHL Bahrain, aborted its takeoff from Bahrain International Airport on December 21, according to the Aviation Herald.

The plane was performing air cargo flight DHX-521 from Bahrain to Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.

The pilot aborted takeoff following a configuration alert.

The airplane slowed down, left the runway, and took off again around one hour later.

According to reader comments on the Aviation Herald web site, the plane (registration SU-BMZ) is a 30 year old model formerly operated by Air France.
