Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Jafza) has expanded its online transaction services for customers by introducing a number of new options on Dubai Trade, the secure portal that facilitates all electronic services provided by EZW, DP World and Dubai Customs.
Introduced as part of Jafza’s enhanced customer care initiatives, the new services include a ‘customer contact update’ function, which allows customers to directly update their contact details with Jafza. In addition a series of online letters have been included, such as No Objection Certificate (NOC) letters for various purposes, tax exemption letters and letters required by banks and government departments including the police department.
“Our aim is to offer most of our services online to customers to make it easy for them to conduct business with us. The new offerings are fully in line with Jafza’s aspiration to evolve into one of the world’s leading process-driven business hubs,” said Fatma Salem, executive vice president and commercial director of operations, EZW UAE Region.
