Approximately 300 professionals from the logistics and maritime sector gathered in Bahrain recently for the 5th Trans Middle East Conference, hosted by the General Organisation of Sea Ports (GOP). The two-day conference and exhibition, which was hosted at the Gulf International Convention Centre, featured over 35 senior executive-level speakers and 50 exhibitors, who discussed the latest issues affecting the development of cargo shipping and transport logistics in the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
Participating companies included: Gulf Air, Pan Gulf Logistics, APM Terminals, Jassim Transport And Stevedoring Company, Bahrain Polytechnic, Saqr Port, Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Co, Mohamed Abdulrahman Al-Bahar, Bahrain Shipping Agents Association, GAC Logistics, Bahrain Ship Repairing and Engineering Company, Kuehne + Nagel, DP World Aden, Psion Teklogix, Gulftainer, Bahrain Logistics Zone, Bahrain International Cargo Services, Inchcape Shipping Services, ACT Airlines, Twintec and Maersk Training Centre.
