In its seventh year of operations and having recently introduced a hugely successful live animal transportation service, flydubai Cargo walked away with the Air Cargo Operator of the Year trophy at the Logistics Middle East Awards 2019.

“I’m very glad, very happy, to win this prestigious award. This is another example of why our customers place their trust in us and we’re honoured to receive it,” said Mohamed Hassan, vice president of cargo at flydubai.

In addition to its capabilities to transport live animals, flydubai now also offers additional services for customers such as door to door, or airport to airport transportation and the option to book return flights for pets and other live animals, which Hassan said is an example of anticipating customers’ needs.

“We as flydubai Cargo understand our customers’ needs and offer them a variety of solutions to meet their requirements. This is something that has really helped us to achieve the position that we occupy in the air cargo sector,” he said.

“Live animal transportation is something that has far exceeded our expectations in terms of the market response,” he added. “It’s been extremely popular, especially on the 70-destination network that flyduibai operates with direct flights, regions like Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.”
