GEODIS appoints global e-commerce VP as it renews focus on omnichannel
GEODIS has announced the creation of a global position for e-commerce with the appointment of Ashwani Nath as vice-president & global head of e-channel solutions.
Reporting to Philippe de Carné, group CCO, Ashwani Nath will be responsible for building and promoting end-to-end e-commerce omni-channel solutions, gathering all existing physical & digital expertise in the company.

By creating this position, the Group intends to strengthen its position in the booming e-commerce logistics sector in Europe and around the world by developing e-fulfillment infrastructure in warehouses, order management systems for cross border last mile & customer service for end to end visibility.
This new role also goes along with the recent evolution of the GEODIS’ organisation which aims at facilitating easy access to the GEODIS services for its customers.

Ashwani Nath, was previously global market line director – retail for GEODIS. Starting his career after graduating in economics & management, he has more than thirty-three years of experience in the logistics sector.
He has also held various regional & global leadership roles within global logistics companies, based in India, Sri Lanka, Italy, The Netherlands and France.
