Emirates A380 quarantined after landing in New York
Emirates Flight 203 has been quarantined after arriving at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), as reported by the New York Mayor’s office.
According to initial reports, the crew reported at least 100 people were feeling ill with symptoms of coughing and fever. A total of 500 passengers were on-board the Airbus A380 aircraft that flew to New York from Dubai.

Upon landing, the aircraft was met by officials from the Port Authority Police and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Larry Coben, a passenger on board the plane, has tweeted "All we have been told is that some passengers have fallen ill and we should remain in our seats”.
It is still unclear what caused the sudden illness on-board.
Emirates has released an official statement on its Twitter account confirming 10 passengers on flight EK203 have taken ill. Currently being attended by local health authorities, the airline expects remaining passengers to disembark shortly.

A spokesman from the New York's mayor office reported that 521 people had been on board. Ten passengers are reported ill and have been transported to Jamaica Hospital for treatment.
