Qatar wins two awards
Qatar Airways' premium class service has received recognition at two separate awards ceremonies held in the Middle East and South Africa.
The Doha-based carrier was voted best first class airline at the Middle East Customer Care Excellence Awards Institute ceremony in Dubai. Ali Al Rais, executive vice president for Qatar Airways' commercial operations accepted the accolade on behalf of the airline.
In Johannesburg, Qatar was named best business airline at the inaugural Africa Investor's 'Tourism Investor Awards'.
Chief executive officer, Akbar Al Baker, said: "These two awards are recognition that Qatar Airways continues to lead the industry by offering the most innovative services to our valued customers." He added: "We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality as it demonstrates our commitment to customer care."
