ADAC appoints CE
Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) has announced the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer today.
On March 20, Rudy Vercelli will become ADAC's first CEO, reporting to the board of directors. Vercelli has extensive experience in the aviation industry and has been appointed to execute major development plans for the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. In his previous role as COO of Mumbai International Airport, Vercelli was responsible for strategic leadership and the implementation of long-term goals and company policies.
HE Khalifa Al Mazrouei, chairman and managing director at ADAC said Vercelli's experience will be invaluable. "He will play a key role in the future development of ADAC and provide leadership, expertise and insight to the challenges of building a world class gateway for Abu Dhabi and developing aviation facilities in the emirate as a whole."
Vercelli said: "I am confident that ADAC can continue to strengthen and increase its market share in airport management and aviation related businesses and contribute to the Emirate's long-term prosperity."
