Registration growth for Dubai Maritime City

Dubai Maritime City has reported a steady increase in companies that have registered with the development this year.

Dubai Maritime City has reported a steady increase in the number of domestic and international companies that have registered their interest in the project since the beginning of 2008.

The development, which recently entered its third and final phase of construction, has attracted over 1000 customers to date, including a mixture of ship owners, equipment suppliers, repair and maintenance companies, management consultants, financial institutes and legal firms.

"The eagerness of leading international companies to establish a presence in Dubai Maritime City reflects the growing reputation of the emirate as one of the world's most promising maritime hubs. In fact, we're confident about doubling the number of businesses registered with us in the near future," said Amer Ali, CEO of Dubai Maritime City.

"We're making every effort to respond to the comprehensive needs of the global maritime community, with advantages such as free zone benefits, developed port infrastructure, convenient time zone between eastern and western markets, and potential for business growth in a rapidly developing environment."
