Technology trends discussed at Materials Handling ME
The Warehousing and Materials Handling Conference organised in conjunction with SCLG (Supply Chain and Logistics Group) kicked off at the Materials Handling Middle East Exhibition yesterday.
The theme for yesterday’s discussions was technology and automation in the warehousing and logistics industry.
The conference will continue today with panel discussions across a range of topical industry areas such as education and factors shaping the industry, as well as an interesting presentation and overview regarding the materials handling industry within Jebel Ali Free Zone.
Materials Handling Middle East 2013, which runs until the end of today at the Middle East’s leading exhibition and conference venue, showcases as many as 152 brands from 18 countries including all of the world’s best known names within the materials handling and supply chain sectors. This year’s show is 42% larger in floor space sold, than the previous edition in 2011.
