Free entry to our annual logistics conference in Dubai
Logistics Middle East magazine's Leaders in Logistics annual conference returns for a fourth time and will be held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dubai on September 23.
The past two years have been relatively successful for the majority of logistics companies in the region. However, due to the still smouldering European bank and debt crisis, high fuel prices and political instability in the Middle East and North Africa region, uncertainties still persist with regard to any forecast economic development.
The continuing unrest in North African and Middle Eastern countries has also led to the highest crude oil prices since 2008. As a result of this market dynamic, many logistics players have been switching from airfreight to more energy-efficient road, rail and sea transport mediums. The UAE rail project, and the potential of an integrated GCC wide rail network, would dramatically alter the region’s logistics and supply chain industry.
In addition to the increasing demand for more sustainable multimodal transportation, the logistics industry faces three other key challenges, namely: staffing and recruitment, technological development, and consolidation.
Logistics Middle East magazine would like to offer you the chance to reserve your seat at the event. While invitees attend for free, the remaining spaces are strictly limited to 150 seats.Note: the free offer is not available to product providers.
