Bahrain-based ship and rig repair yard Asry recorded its highest ever first quarter revenues in 2013.

The yard’s Q1 2013 revenues of US$54 million has beaten all previous records since the company started in 1977.

ASRY chief executive Chris Potter said: “We’re pleased to see a response from our recent investment in expansion.

“By investing in creating a yard that now has the leading variety of facilities and capabilities, the market seems to be welcoming a fully diversified marine complex.”

Asry’s ship repair and offshore repair sectors were the biggest contributors to the results.
