Materials handling firm Swisslog expands Mid East team
Swisslog, a Swiss-based provider of automated warehouse solutions, has added a new member to its Business Development team in the Middle East.
Frédéric Zielinski, will develop Swisslog’s growing presence in the Middle East where the automation sector, is expected to grow rapidly over the next few years.
“We are very much responding to the changing market,” said Swisslog’s Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Andrew Manship. “We are a global business and our Middle East presence is increasing as we realize our growing ambitions and market expansion plans.”

Frédéric Zielinski is the archetypal Swisslog expert, with a strong grounding in the technical capabilities of our systems as well as the commercial awareness that our customers and partners are seeking.”

Having joined Swisslog in 2004 and held several managerial positions, including a Project Manager for large general contractor projects and Head of the Automated Guided Vehicles department, Frédéric Zielinski brings a wealth of experience to the role.

In many parts of the world, Swisslog’s automation systems are seen as the future of e-commerce and logistics. In the Middle East, this sector is only recently developing, so it is exciting to be involved at the start of a new chapter for our business.”
Frédéric Zielinski holds a Master Degree in Computer Science and Control Theory from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Appliquées à l’Ingénieur, France and an MBA in international management from the Swiss Business School, Switzerland.
