The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) announced the availability of a new mobile application for iPhone and iPad users as well as any smart phone using Android that aimed to provide customers with direct access to all of the company's services while on the move.

The applications will allow customers to track their cargo shipments in real time, display voyages schedule and locate vessel positions. The applications also provide access to various online direct services and information about Bahri including the latest news, events, contacts and offices locations with direction maps.

“The new mobile applications for Bahri customers build on our promise to provide not only exemplary services, but also better customer support and closer interaction with all of the company’s stakeholders,” said Bahri CEO, Engr. Saleh Al-Jasser.

“Customers have the option to track either their shipments or any of our vessels in real time to ensure their cargo is delivered on time, and are also afforded the information to contact Bahri representative directly if they require additional support, in line with our promise and reputation of high-standard customer service.”

An investor relations section within the applications provides up-to-date financial reports and presentations in compliance with Bahri’s transparency guidelines. Unclaimed dividend inquiries can also be checked directly from within the application by Bahri’s stakeholders.

Earlier in February 2013, Bahri announced that it has received the first of six sophisticated newly built Roll-on/Roll-off Container vessel (RoCon) from Hyundai MIPO as part of the company’s comprehensive expansion strategy.

iPhone, iPad and Android users can download the applications by visiting the online Apple Store and Google Store or searching for “Bahri”. The application is available in both English and Arabic and is free of charge.
