WATCH: Snake clings to airplane wing during flight
Take a look at this clip taken by a passenger on board a Qantas flight between the Australian town of Cairns and Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea. It shows footage of 3.6 metre python clinging to the wing of the airplane mid-flight.
According to Qantas spokesperson Thomas Woodward, the snake managed to cling on to the wing for the entire one hour and 50-minute flight, but was dead on arrival. The wind speed was 400 km/h and the temperature was minus 12 degrees during the flight.
