DHL Express Middle East and North Africa CEO, Nour Suliman is optimistic the region’s logistics sector will continue to grow citing new business opportunities in the region.

“The UAE and the Middle East remains a key growth region with strong business opportunities. DHL’s continued investment in the region demonstrates the company’s confidence in the region’s growth potential,” Suliman told newspaper the Khaleej Times in an interview.

The CEO added: “The UAE has a strategic position in the Middle East and is set to cement a significant role as a regional distribution hub,” he said.

Suliman sees that growth in the Middle East has been aided by SME’s who realise the unique benefits of its strategic location.

“With customers increasingly interested in expanding their business in the Middle East, we anticipate an uptake in demand for logistics support as companies move to establish inventory and distribution hubs in the region,” he told the newspaper.
