Bahrain Air has become the latest Middle Eastern carrier to introduce a loyalty programme for customers.

Under the new initiative, which was launched at the start of this month, passengers need to collect their boarding cards and exchange them for free flights, with one-way tickets offered for seven boarding cards and return tickets for 11 boarding cards.

If all the boarding cards are from business class journeys, then the free tickets will also be business class, otherwise economy class tickets will be offered.

“We have introduced this scheme to show our loyal customers that we appreciate their choice in flying with us as their first option,” stated Richard Nuttall, director of commercial operations at Bahrain Air. “It is very simple; the passenger gives us a certain number of boarding passes and in return they instantly get a free ticket to any Bahrain Air destination.”

Boarding card stubs can be redeemed at any Bahrain Air sales outlets in Bahrain only.
