Jordanian students receive DHL Express lesson
Students at German-Jordanian University (GJU) in Amman were provided with an opportunity to learn from the best in the business recently, when they received a lesson in logistics and supply chain management from DHL Express.
Dr Michael Linke, head enterprise architect for DHL Express Germany/Austria, visited the university to provide training and to enable knowledge transfer of logistics and supply chain management to Jordanian students.
During the 2-hour session with over 50 logistics, IT students and educational board members, Dr. Linke discussed current IT-related issues and provided valuable insights into the DHL Express process and IT ecosphere.
“Showing students the different aspects of the DHL Express world, both from the perspective of the Middle East and Western Europe, provided them a unique insight into how our truly global organisation of international specialists works,” said Dr. Linke after the talk.
Dr. Linke’s visit follows the success of an international exchange program with DHL Express Germany/Austria, where four GJU students are currently undertaking a six month internship at DHL Express Bonn, Germany.
