Global supply chain firm APL Logistics announced yesterday it had extended its Middle East footprint following two agency appointments including; Iraq Transcontinental Shipping Co. in Iraq, and Kuwait Transcontinental Shipping Co. W.L.L. in Kuwait.

Customers from all sectors will now be able to tap APL Logistics’ services through the appointed agencies’ offices in Basrah, Bagdad and Umm Qasr in Iraq, as well as Ardiya in Kuwait.

“The combination of APL Logistics’ global supply chain expertise and systems with the agents’ local network and market understanding, offers a strong value proposition to global customers looking to do business in Iraq and Kuwait,” said Joseph Lee, APL Logistics’ managing director for the Middle East.

APL Logistics’ full suite of services will be offered, including supply chain design and engineering, international logistics, warehousing and domestic distribution, project cargo solutions and IT solutions.
