MasterCard and Aramex recently joined forces to make e-tailing (electronic retailing) more efficient for consumers in the Middle East.

Aimed at delivering more convenient e-tailing to its cardholders, the Shop and Ship service is the e-tail delivery service that offers consumers online shopping from companies in the US, UK and Europe.

Hussein Hachem, CEO, Aramex, Middle East and Africa, said shop and ship makes it even easier to buy goods.

“By using this service, consumers in the Middle East no longer need to be concerned about whether the US, UK and European e-shops that they visit offer the option of international shipping or whether they charge high shipping fees,” he added.

Shoppers can access the service by logging on to ShopandShip.com and signing up for a lifetime membership account. Once the consumer places an order, Aramex receives the ordered goods at its facilities from the e-tailer, which is then shipped and delivered right to the shopper.
