DHL complete major fleet upgrade in Oman
DHL Express has upgraded its fleet in Oman with an investment in 19 new trucks.
The value of the investment is estimated at US$455,000 (OMR 175,000), and is part of the logistics company’s commitment towards meeting its growing logistics needs.
“Our business in Oman is continuing to experience growth and as we expand, the continued investment in our vehicles will provide us with the capacity required to meet our customers’ demands,” said Michael Nistor, country manager, DHL Express Oman.
DHL continues to invest in its operations in Oman, with the fleet expansion following the recent investment of more than $221,000 (OMR 85,000) in a new gateway facility in Muscat’s prime industrial area.
Garry Kemp, managing director, DHL Express, said: “This investment reinforces our commitment to the Sultanate.”
