Dubai based Centre Point Logistics (CPL) and CEVA Logistics have signed an agreement to help expand business interests in the Middle East region.

The deal struck sees CEVA using CPL's unique "Open Architecture Model", allowing for infrastructure sharing, which will help save resources, time and money.

"We are delighted to see CEVA expanding its presence in the MENA region and we are fully committed to support CEVA's growth strategy," said Saleh Lootah, chairman,CPL.

John Gould, CEVA's managing director for the Middle East, is also pleased with the arrangement saying the addition of CPL's Logistics Hub in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), will complement their service offerings to clients.

The agreement between CPL and CEVA will help establish its position as a large logistics hub where international Third Party Logistics (3PLs) offer contract logistics to clients worldwide.
