Registration opened for companies in Kizad
The registration of free zone companies within Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) was launched today as part of the Abu Dhabi Investment Forum in Korea.
Strategically located between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Kizad is an industrial zone covering 417 sq km. It also boasts one of the world’s most advanced deepwater seaports.
Consistent with Abu Dhabi’s 2030 economic vision, Kizad focuses on advanced industries in the following clusters; aluminium, engineered metals, steel, petrochemical and chemical, pharmaceutical, food and warehousing, and logistics.
H.E. Nasser Ahmed Alsowaidi, chairman of the Department of Economic Development said, "We are delighted to be launching the Free Zone company registration with Kizad today as it solidifies our efforts in attracting direct foreign investment into Abu Dhabi. Our presence in Korea and other markets is in line with Abu Dhabi’s economic vision 2030 and as part of this, we look to supporting all our partners in fulfilling their role toward a diversified economy.”
