An Airbus A320 Prestige with interiors designed for VVIPs has joined the Comlux fleet in Bahrain.

The plane, fitted out by Comlux America, offers a VIP lounge with L shaped divan, two club seats and a large dining table for six guests. A fully private compartment offers either a cozy lounge for the day or a large double bed for the night.

The plane has ample seating for members of a VIP’s travelling entourage. It also has a large cargo belly, allowing transportation of large amounts of luggage.

Technologies such as GSM, mood-lighting, wireless internet access and iPod/iPhone stands are included.

“I am very proud of my team who worked on this project. Our craftsmen did a remarkable job exceeding our client’s expectations in terms of quality,” said David Edinger, CEO of Comlux America..

“Our engineers have used specific materials in the cabin, enhancing cabin quietness. They also worked on a weight reduction program, increasing aircraft performance. After this great achievement, we are all now very excited to start working on a new Boeing Business Jet and Airbus Corporate Jet, which have already arrived at our facility

The plane joined Comlux’s Bahrain fleet at the start of May. It joins three A318 Elites and two ACJs.

Globally, the Comlux fleet now has 18 aircraft.
