GCAA achieves five ISO certifications
The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has achieved five ISO certifications for its integrated management system.
The certifications included all GCAA operations and units such air navigations and aeronautical information services, aviation safety and security, airworthiness, flight operations and licensing, and customer services.
“Achieving five ISO certifications by implementing an Integrated Management System is a proof of GCAA’s commitment towards achieving its strategic vision of providing a high level and measureable quality services,” said Omar Bin Ghaleb, deputy director general of GCAA.
“This certificate demonstrates that GCAA embraces the values of operational excellence, customer satisfaction, social responsibility and innovation. GCAA is committed to integrate these values in every aspect of its business operations in order to ensure safety and quality of industry services, ethical corporate behaviour, employees’ welfare and environmental commitment,” he added.
