Qatar-based Rizon Jet will soon take delivery of an Airbus Corporate Jetliner (ACJ), which it will manage on behalf of a customer based in the Gulf.

Delivery of the plane is planned for next year, with handover in 2012 once interior fitout work has been completed.

The design of the interior has been handled by Andrew Winch Design, based in London. Fitout work will be carried out in Basel by AMAC Aerospace.

“Our customer wants a comfortable and spacious environment for his family and friends during his travels. The new Airbus ACJ ticks all the boxes for his requirements. Moving into the management of an Airbus Corporate Jetliner was both a natural and desirable step for us,” said Patrick Enz, CEO of Rizon Jet.

Airbus has sold around 170 corporate jets to date, including more than one 110 A318 Elites, Airbus ACJs and A320 Prestiges, plus over 60 VIP and government wide-bodies.

Rizon Jet was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Doha, with additional operating bases in the UAE, Bahrain and UK. It provides a range of executive aviation services.
