TDG brings on new managing director
TDG has announced the appointment of a new managing director for its UK contract logistics and transport business units.
47 year-old David Bermingham has joined the company from CEVA (formerly TNT Logistics) and following a successful 17-year career there. His previous roles have included general manager, divisional director and managing director of CEVA’s multi-user business division, and he has spent his working life in logistics.
David will assist in the external promotion of TDG’s integrated supply chain management service and promote a sector focus whilst looking at service skills across the business.
Bermingham explained: “My new role is an exciting one, particularly during the current economic climate. I believe TDG is in a strong position to concentrate on strategy for future growth by applying our skills into complementary market sectors yet retaining our excellent record in service delivery and customer focus.”
Mike Branigan, CEO of TDG said: “We are delighted that David decided to join TDG at such an exciting time. He brings a wealth of experience and I’m confident that our strong and talented team will continue to grow the business.”
