New Amateur Video: Airblue Crash Rescue Efforts

Eyewitness posts video on YouTube of the Pakistan crash site.

An amateur video posted on YouTube has shown the closest footage yet of rescue efforts at the site of last week’s Airblue plane crash in Pakistan.

The video features emergency workers, journalists and bystanders near the smoldering wreckage of the passenger flight, which killed 152 people near Islamabad airport.

The uploader, who identified himself as Saqib, claims to be a student who watched a news report about the accident on television and rushed to the scene on his bicycle.

“We passed at least three hours there and then came back because of security forces pushing the public back,” he stated on the website.
