The Supply Chain and Logistics Group (SCLG) has confirmed over 200 speakers and panellists for its third Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management Summit in Dubai this month.

The event, which takes place at the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel on Wednesday 12th May, will focus on eight tracks – policy and infrastructure, transportation and logistics, sourcing and global sourcing, finances and liabilities, technology and best practices, research and education, warehouse and material handling, and retail supply chain management.

“The economic outlook in many countries has improved this year as many government authorities around the world have announced stimulus packages. Year 2010 has begun with a new hope for a better tomorrow,” said Dr Madrecha, regional development committee member of SCLG.

“Through these summits, SCLG helps to build strategies in individual companies, support the government in policy formation, facilitate industry growth, with an aim to weather the global challenges and arrive at strategies to tackle the challenges that the industry is currently facing,” he added.
