Oman Air appoints new regional manager for Mideast
Oman Air has appointed Ejaz Khan as regional manager of the Gulf, Middle East and Africa, based in Muscat.
Khan has over 28 years of experience in international sales, customer service and airport operations in various parts of Middle East, Africa and Pakistan, having worked with a number of European and regional airlines.
Prior to this posting he served as Oman Air’s country manager in Pakistan, based in Karachi.
“Ejaz Khan has proven his mettle as the country manager for Pakistan, where he rose to the challenges to achieve targets by successfully developing customer focused strategies,” commented Abdulrazaq Alraisi, Oman Air’s general manager of worldwide sales.
“He is a well-rounded aviation management strategist and a team player with a proven track record and industry knowledge. He is sure to lead his team to new heights and achieve the targets as set forth by the management by lending his expertise to achieve this end,” he added.
In his current posting, Ejaz Khan will be responsible to lead his team in meeting the sales target of all the stations in the Gulf, Middle East and Africa, optimising the revenue, identifying new markets, marketing and promotions, defining customer needs and other support services as required.
“I feel honoured to be appointed as the regional manager for Gulf, Middle East and Africa, which proves the trust that Oman Air management has placed in me,” said Khan.
“Oman Air is currently on a steady path of expansion with newer destinations and increased fleet size, and of course the unmatched services and products. My most immediate and prime endeavour would be to join hands with whatever plans the Oman Air management has set forth for the forward trajectory of the carrier.”
