SSI Schaefer reveals material handling expo agenda
Material handling heavyweight SSI Schaefer has confirmed its attendance at the upcoming Material Handling Middle East show, with the company's aim this year to focus on automated warehousing. The move reflects the firm's confidence in the Middle East and Africa supply chain markets, despite the global recession.
Of particular interest to participants will be the release of SSI Schaefer's new standalone Warehouse Management System Software (WAMAS).
"This year, our objective is to bring a difference to the market and to focus on semi and automated warehousing rather than our very well-known standard range of shelving and racking," said Geoff Wheatley, SSI Schaefer's managing director for the Middle East and Africa.
"SSI Schaefer Middle East will be exhibiting the latest in order-picking technology, including A Frame picking, conveyors and the world release of the new I Pick system," Wheatley added.
The Material Handling Middle East Show will take place between 31st May and 1st June at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Over 200 companies are predicted to participate.
