Dubai Maritime City (DMC) is all set to hand over 217 units within its Industrial Precinct to DryDocks World, which is responsible for leasing them out to the industry.

The units include 140 workshops, 60 warehouses, 12 showrooms and five yacht manufacturing facilities. In addition, the first kVA substation has been completed.

DMC has also managed to deliver a number of other components, including the central administration building, the ship-lift control building and a mobile boat hoist. The two ship lifts are expected to be operational by August.

“There has been strong and rapid progress within Dubai Maritime City over the last few months,” stated Amer Ali, the CEO of Dubai Maritime City.

“With every milestone, we get closer to seeing the completion of construction work within the Industrial Precinct, which in turn brings Dubai Maritime City closer to being a major player in the global maritime industry.”
