Air India has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Montrose Global Capial to dry lease three aircraft.
The state-owned carrier plans to increase operations for next summer through the dry lease of three Boeing 747-400 aircraft.
The aircraft would join Air India’s fleet in February and March next year.
Air India has also decided to take one 767-300 ER aircraft on wet lease from Globespan Airways UK.
Already in operation, this aircraft is used on Mumbai-Delhi-Bangkok and Mumbai-Delhi-Kuala Lampur route.
Additionally the airline has extended the dry lease term of two A 310-300 aircraft, to February and April next year.
