ACME Group, a regional leader in intra-logistics automation as well as industrial automation, has moved its regional headquarters from Al Serkal Avenue in Dubai’s Al Quoz area to Business Bay.

The move, according to Navin Narayan, director, ACME Group, was aimed at enhancing the company’s automation solutions.

“Since mid-2017, we have been investing in setting up a full-fledged in house design and development team for automation solutions based out of Dubai,” he explains. “With the new office, the design team is able to work closely with the pre-sales team as well as coordinate with our execution and service teams.”

“Having everyone operate out of one facility has helped to greatly improve efficiency and synergies,” he adds.

The previous HQ in Al Serkal will now operate as a showroom that showcases the latest robotics as well as warehouse automation solutions within the ACME portfolio.

The move comes after a highly successful year in 2017 for the group. ACME was deeply involved in the installation and commissioning of some the largest distribution centres in the region last year, and also won a large project to design, supply and install a fully automated warehouse for 25,000 pallet locations in Saudi Arabia.

“Meanwhile, the conveyor solutions business has also seen a substantial increase and ACME now supplies to a variety of large production and logistics facilities in the region,” Narayan adds. “Our service team now provides 24 hours maintenance support to one of the largest courier companies in the world at two of their facilities located at the biggest air hubs in the country.”
