SmartKargo offers web-based browser access for Oman Air’s agents and employees.
The platform facilitates the more to paperless business processes such as electronic air waybill (eAWBs) and offers the capability to digitally collect, store and transmit relevant documentation.
Immediate access to all sorts of relevant data, full shipment visibility and SmartKargo’s robust reporting capability offers significant potential for revenue and capacity management.
The SmartKargo Link capability within the system will also facilitate Oman Air Cargo’s interline opportunities by streamlining processes and communications with partner airlines – opening up new revenue potential, the freight carrier declared.
A capability for customer bookings to be made via a mobile app is expected to follow in coming months.
“The successful implementation of the Oman Air SmartKargo system has been a phenomenal success for us all. The team and support have been amazing and we look forward to leveraging latest technology in advancing our business for years to come,” Al Musafir added.
