LBC Express launches UAE service for repatriation of human remains
LBC Express the Philippines’ leading courier and cargo solutions provider, has introduced LBC Cares, a service that offers end-to-end solutions for the shipment of valuables.
The new service seeks to bridge over 2 million “kabayans” in the Middle East to their families back home.
The new service also makes LBC the first Filipino cargo company to provide a service that seeks to ease the process of securing sensitive requirements and paperwork for shipment of human remains, live animals, as well as fragile appliances and furniture.
“LBC Cares guarantees comfort and security for our ‘kabayans’ and their families back home by providing hassle-free transport of their valuables, no matter how massive or delicate these are,” said Mark Agalo-os, vice president for the Middle East at LBC.
“With LBC Cares, we provide our overseas ‘kabayans’ with a more personalized, friendly and professional approach with the goal of providing convenience as we ensure their most important shipments will reach the Philippine safely,” he added.
All three services will first be offered in the UAE and eventually the rest of the Gulf region.
LBC is also aware that a number of Filipinos in the UAE have pets under their care. With LBC Cares’ Live Animal Shipment, transporting their pets home should not be an issue as LBC assists in the requirements and airline booking and clearances to ensure a hassle-free travel for their pets to the Philippines.
Special Handling service, on the other hand, is LBC’s way of ensuring that their customers’ precious belongings such as furniture and appliances are shipped to the Philippines securely and with extra care.
Under this service, LBC offers customized crating services to provide utmost security upon shipment of the items.
LBC Cares was launched during a ceremony of officers of the Middle East and African Network of Filipinos Diaspora (MEANFID) at Metropolitan Hotel in Dubai.
MEANFID expressed support to LBC’s newest service innovation with the support of the Philippine government through the guidance of the Philippine Embassy and Philippine Consulate.
“Just like the goal of MEANFID, our commitment is to serve Filipino expatriates the best way we can. We share the passion to assist them and provide them with all conveniences so that they can work productively and live comfortably despite the distance that separates them from their families back home,” Agalo-os said.
