Al-Futtaim launches Exhibition Logistics arm in Dubai
Al-Futtaim Logistics has officially launched its Exhibition Logistics services in Dubai, making its exhibition expertise, already well-known among Al-Futtaim group companies, open to the entire Middle East market.
Al-Futtaim Logistics is tailored toward customers who require local and international moving services, handyman service, and storage / warehousing solutions to hold stock for their events in the nearby markets.
Vargheese Anthony, general manager, Al-Futtaim Logistics said: “We support exhibitors’ and organisers’ needs for end to end exhibition handling by providing complete solutions through our global network. This includes freight management, destination clearance and local handling right through to delivery to the venues or stands.”
“We can mobilise our specialist air freight team at short notice to fulfil critical and controlled authority clearance, and our privileged relations with Dubai Customs enable us to expedite processes, especially for automotive, machinery, food, pharma, cosmetics and nutritional products,” he added.

Raman Kumar, managing director, Al-Futtaim Logistics said: “We are proud to be based in the UAE, at the beating heart of a modern international hub for trade shows, exhibitions, events and conferences. Our warehousing facilities in DIP and DIC are offered as part of our overall solution, extending secure, safe storage solutions to professional event planners, resulting in lower warehousing costs to manage items and equipment.”
Al-Futtaim Logistics’ global reach in 150 countries through a key strategic partnership, extends to turnkey freight solutions which include bespoke handling for sporting, automotive and retail events, as well as product launches, roadshows and local/international trade fairs and exhibitions.
Thanks to its well established strategic advantage, Al-Futtaim Logistics recently signed its first partnership agreement with Dubai Export Development Corporation, (Department of Economic Development, Dubai’s Export Promotion Agency), extending logistics support to Dubai Exports and its members, as well as during their exhibitions, missions and promotional activities overseas.
Making light of special heavy-lift requirements for venue launches such as high-end restaurants, as recently seen with the installation of Lexus cars to refresh the conceptual display every quarter at the world’s 2nd Intersect by Lexus, the team takes in its stride regular event requirements such as moving containers of fabric and parcels of marketing collaterals.
