Al Nahrain Group has transported a consignment of multipurpose dredgers, floats and containers from Umm Qasr Port, Iraq, to Ministry of Water locations throughout the country.

The project cargoes included three dredgers weighing 88 tonnes each, six 23-tonne floats and containers weighing 16 tonnes each.

The units were delivered to sites in Kut, Al Diwaniyah, Nasiriyah and Baghdad, reports Breakbulk.com.

Al Nahrain Group is a member of the Cargo Connections network, a UK-based general cargo network. The association is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified and limits membership to three firms in each country.

Fellow member Sham Logistics Services completed recent shipments of an oil pump, transformer and accessories from the USA to Kuwait by breakbulk shipment for Kuwait Oil Co.

The over-dimensional cargo measured 18 meters long and had to be carefully handled due to the adverse weather conditions of Storm Sandy.
