Dubai South inaugurates new Business Centre
Dubai South has launched a new Business Centre to meet market demand and support the growth of innovative start-ups and SMEs in the country.
The new Business Centre was opened by Khalifa Al Zaffin, executive chairman, Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South.
The keynote speaker at the inaugural event, which was attended by over 100 SMEs, was Abhishek Ajay Shah, co-founder and managing director of RSA Logistics, one of the first tenants to establish operations at Dubai South.
The new Business Centre, located in the Business Park, allows companies to leverage its strategic location that is in close proximity to the Al Maktoum International Airport and Expo 2020 Dubai.
The Centre offers fully-furnished offices, in varying sizes built to the requirements of SMEs and startups.
The new Centre offers a complete suite of services, including secretarial and office services, such as reception and telephone assistance, and meeting rooms fully-equipped with the latest audio and visual technologies.
The ideal place to set up your business, the New Business Centre offers its customers ‘speed of set up’ and ‘ease of doing business’ via the newly launched online portal, where companies can complete registration in less than 15 minutes.
Emphasizing the fact that when new projects are launched at Dubai South, the focus isn’t “Only on the economic dimension, but we take into account the human element as well,” Al Zaffin said that “Dubai South has its eye firmly on the goals of the Dubai Strategic Plan 2021, with the aim of creating the ideal urban destination in which to live, work and invest.”
“The opening of the New Business Center is an essential element in fulfilling Dubai South’s commitment toward building a knowledge economy by encouraging start-ups and propelling the growth of SMEs,” added Dubai South’s acting CEO, Ahmed Al Ansari.
