Agility, a leading global logistics provider, has won a five-year contract with medical and pharmaceutical supplier YIACO Medical Company to provide specialised warehousing and other services in support of YIACO’s work in the healthcare industry for both public and private sectors.

Agility is to store medicines and medical equipment supplied by YIACO and handle administration of the Ministry of Health’s stamp on orders filled by YIACO.

The 9,000-sqm Agility facility, licensed by the Ministry, uses advanced warehousing technology and equipment to manage receipt, storage, distribution and reverse logistics.

It is equipped with a temperature-controlled zone for sensitive medicine, as well as a secure area for high-value medical equipment and pharmaceutical goods. The warehouse also includes a quarantine area for goods pending approval and licensing by the Ministry of Health.
